YEHUD "LILY" AR HALF GERAH (1/2 OBOL) UNDER PERSIAN RULE
Hendin 6059, Very Fine+, toned, some corrosion, 7.9mm, .28 gram, Struck Circa. 4th Century B.C.E., Under Persian Rule
Obverse: Lily
Reverse: Falcon upward, head to right, ['YHD' (in Paleo-Hebrew) in outer right field]
A reasonable example with a lovely perfectly centered lily, falcon head off flan. Coin has original hoard patina and is about as nice a lily you will ever find at this level!
The current Israeli shekel is directly modeled after this coin.
