Obverse: Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving quadriga to right; above Nike flying right, crowning one horse with right hand and another horse with left hand

Reverse: Small head of Arethusa to right, wearing narrow stephane and choker, hair bound in back, ΣΥRAQOΣΙΟΝ within four dolphins around

An early Greek Syracusan Tetradrachm with an impeccable pedigree. Even wear and surface marks. Struck on good metal with an exceptional broad flan showing all the design elements of the coin in completion as they were meant to be seen.
