Measures 60mm x 82mm, depth 45mm, LMLK MMST (spelling Lamelech Mamshit). The top second "L" of LMLK is partial on this impression and the "K" is complete, the "ST" of MMST are also complete and well struck.

Partial but struck BOLDLY and SHARPLY!
These are handles are from jugs or pithos that held grains, wine or oil in the storehouses of King Hezekia. There is an account of the king setting up these storehouses, in the Bible, Chronicles II, Chapter 11. The seals were struck on the clay before it hardened and are usually partial, sometimes presenting only outlines.
