Obverse: V K M AV ANTWNEIN around laureate bust of young Caracalla wearing paludamentum and cuirass to right
Reverse: Hexastyle Temple with central arch and pediment decorated with eagle, flaming altar within, WN KOI CYP around, date AOC (year 171 - 208/209 C.E.) to left, ΔEIHN in exergue
SUPERB coin on both obverse and reverse. Edge cracks possibly from the power of the struck. UNPARALLELED reverse with greater detail than we have ever seen and probable the finest known! Same obverse die as the Sofaer coin, though our coin far superior.
