Obverse: Inscription within wreath, "Yehohanan the High Priest and the Council of the Judaeans" in Paleo-Hebrew
Reverse: Double cornucopia adorned with ribbons, pomegranate between horns
Very SHARP and CLEAR legend. These coins were struck on strips of metal which were cut between the coin. The strip on this coin was poured this and did not cleanly snap. So, the doubled the edge over itself to make the coin round and tight. Interesting piece!
