PTOLEMY I SOTER AS SATRAP AR TETRADRACHM
Svoronos 107, SNG Cop. 25, Very Fine / About Extremely Fine, rev. adhesions, graffiti, banker's mark, 30.1mm, 15.64 grams, Struck Circa. 310 - 305 B.C.E., Alexandria Mint
Obverse: Diademed head of Alexander to right, wearing elephant skin headdress with horn of Ammon, and aegis around his neck
Reverse: A thena Promachos advancing to right brandishing spear and holding shield, eagle below monogram in right field
A very affordable example struck on a broad flan. The reverse has some adhesions possibly solder or from another coin or fused object, however the detail is fantastic and the intrinsic metal excellent!
