Obverse: Diademed head of Ptolemy to right, wearing aegis around neck, small Δ behind ear

Reverse: Eagle standing to left on thunderbolt, P over monogram in left field,  ΠTOΛEMAIOY ΣΩTHPOΣ around

The banker's mark notwithstanding, a simply BEAUTIFUL tetradrachm of the first Ptolemaic King, with deep old cabinet toning and wonderful surfaces!
