Obverse: Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, surrounded by inscription
Reverse: Victory advancing to left holding wreath and trophy, inscription around, date ZOP in right field (177 = 118/119 C.E.)
A WONDERFUL example of this city in the Galilee and one of the nicest we have seen!
Early authors pointed to the location of this Gaba in the territory of Trachonitis. It is now attributed to the Gaba in Galilee based on hoard evidence, see Sofaer Vol. 1 pp. 43.
