Obverse: Facing head in a circle of connected dots
Reverse: Paleo-Hebrew inscription (YECHIZKIAH HaPECHA) HEZEKIA THE GOVERNOR to the sides of owl standing right, head facing. The feathers of the head form a beaded circle.
Better example with both the head and inscription present, which is often not the case. Delicately struck tiny coin with clear definitive letters! Dark patina.
The "HaPecha" title is found in the Megilat Esther (the book of Esther) in reference to the governors, such as Hezekia, who were the representatives of the king in Persia.
