ANTICOHOS II THEOS AR DRACHM, 261 - 246 B.C.E.
SC 541.1, Very Fine+/Very Fine, some obverse pitting, 19.4mm, 3.95 grams, Struck Circa. 319 - 315B.C.E., Magnesia on the Maeander mint
Obverse: Diademed head of Antiochos I to right
Reverse: Apollo seated left on omphalus, holding bow in his right hand, his left hand on omphalos, monogram to outer left
A VERY RARE early Seleucid coin! The porosity appears tamer in hand and the coin has nice eye appeal. Struck on a broad flan.
